Update from May 7, 2022, 10:30 am: Nothing’s up for grabs on PlayStation Direct today, but Sony’s in-house PS5 direct delivery is one of the most exciting and hottest drop candidates for the next few days. Since the beginning, there have been supplies there every month without exception, in April the PS5 was sold 3 times on PS Direct, but in May the console was not yet offered. It is therefore likely that there will be at least one further drop with the potential to border on certainty. So check your inbox regularly. At times it was thought that nothing could really come until May, but there was always a consolation supply. Now a new month has begun and many are wondering how PS Direct is currently doing with the PlayStation 5. Can you also expect a fall in May?

What is the current status of PS5 supplies on PlayStation Direct? Even though no invitations have been sent in May as of the current situation – quite promising. Whether there will be many sales again in April cannot be predicted, but it is basically certain that PS Direct will bring supplies again this month. If you have been considered for invites and have received a corresponding email, you can calmly and peacefully purchase PlayStation 5 directly from Sony on the specified date. So PS Direct is nothing more than a one-off, invitation-based direct purchase from Sony. Sometimes, after closed campaigns, there were also open sales, where all interested parties could participate without being invited in advance.
