On the first day of QuakeCon At Home, we released a new version of the original Quake and hosted a series of panels where developers told us more about the present and future of our current and upcoming games. For everyone who can’t be there, below is a brief synopsis — including the trailer and other information, of course.

Earthquake

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dark Fantasy FPS, we’re releasing an enhanced version of the original Quake, now available for PC, Xbox One, consoles and PC on Xbox Game Pass, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The Xbox Series X | Backwards compatible on S and PlayStation 5. Xbox Series X | Native versions with 4K and 120 FPS will soon be available as a free upgrade for the S and PlayStation 5.

Earthquakes are now part of the celebration Second Xbox Game Pass for PC is available in its original form.

  • Original in a new form: Experience a visually polished, but still authentic version of the original. The upgraded version offers 4K resolution and widescreen support, improved models, dynamic and color lighting, anti-aliasing, depth of field and atmospheric original soundtrack and theme song by Trent Reznor!   • Online and local multiplayer or co-op as well as crossplay: But you don’t have to go into gloomy dimensions alone. In addition, the game offers fast-paced, action-packed, competitive matches for up to eight (online) or four players: inside (local split screen) with server support for online player search as well as your own matches and crossplay. The Arkane Lyon team took a closer look at DEATHLOOP’s multiplayer during yesterday’s panel. You’ve told us what it would be like to jump into the game as Juliana and chase to/from the player: in a controlled colt. There’s also new gameplay content and a detailed discussion of the many ways to play this immersive shooter. PS5 and PC gamers who are interested in this highly anticipated title should definitely not miss it.

fallout 76

Fallout Worlds brings unique adventures to Appalachia with rotating public worlds, giving players the tools to build their own custom worlds. In its panel, the BGS team talks about what this means, how it will actually work, and more.

Public Worlds: This is an alternate series of Fallout Worlds experiences, each with a unique side of Appalachia, and handcrafted by the team at Bethesda Game Studios. The public world will be available and accessible for free to all Fallout 76 players.
Custom Worlds: Custom Worlds take personal server personalization to the next level. It gives Fallout 1 members full access to the customization settings of Fallout Worlds, allowing them to create their own unique experiences.
Daily Operations – Expansion II: With the latest addition to Fallout 76’s Daily Operations, we’re introducing double mutation events that will take place every other weekend. Plus, there’s a new enemy group, three new locations, and new rewards for daily tasks!

the Elder Scrolls Online

Matt Firr and Rich Lambert invite The Elder Scrolls Online fans to share the latest additions, graphical improvements, and upcoming updates to the game. We also introduced a new trailer and showed new players the many ways in which one can experience the award-winning role-playing game.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood’s events have settled, and yet Mehrun’s Dagon plot continues. The Elder Scrolls Online: Waking Flame DLC continues the story with two new dungeons and will be released on August 23 for PC/Mac and Stadia and on September 8 for consoles.

We’ve also announced a very special collaboration based on the motto: ESO Goes Heavy Metal – more precisely, we’re teaming up with heavy metal band Trivium, which will launch a new ESO-inspired album in the autumn. doom eternal

Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin from id Software updated fans with everything that’s currently going on around DOOM Eternal and the upcoming update 6.66. It also includes new information about Horde Mode, updates for Battle Mode, and two new master levels. We also unveiled the Nintendo Switch trailer for Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part Two, which will be released for the Nintendo Switch on August 26.

TESV: Skyrim

Some members of the Skyrim development team sat down to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary and shared memories and inside stories with us while watching a live playthrough of the game’s first few moments. It was also announced during the panel that the original soundtrack would be performed and live streamed by the London Symphony Orchestra on 11 November to celebrate the anniversary.

We also announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, which, in addition to the full version of the game, includes all three expansions: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. In addition, all improvements of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will be included. The Anniversary Edition also includes over 500 unique content from the Creation Club – including quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells and more.
