Routine Juice: The façade at Munich’s Fraunhoferstrae only gives a subtle hint of what’s hidden inside the “routine wellness club”. But there’s no noticeable branding, and you won’t find any letters above the bar. When it comes to the healthy “juice lifestyle,” the new store in Isarvorstadt is in good company. Andre and Patrick Feulner have a voguen Subject Approved: Juice Remedies. The idea for a local branch, a space between the bar and the store that serves the individual needs of customers, began to take shape in early 2020. And when Patrizio Gola and Guglielmo Giagnotti came into play, one stone suddenly fell on top of another.

Feather “studioout“The brothers met a friend from New York. Two aspiring designers from Milan know how to identify form and material patents. With linear fixtures made of steel and copper, the two created a great space you’ll hardly want to leave. Organic structures, textiles and patina give warmth to the room, the rest is taken over by light. The studiooutte ceiling plays subtly with the spotlights and bustle of the street, changing the mood inside depending on the time of day and the season. “When a DHL van drives by outside, the shop is immersed in a yellow filter for a few seconds, I love that,” says founder Andre. The countless details the team has applied include a specially designed ceramics series that stages Açaí bowls and company. Four questions for Studiooutte:
AD: What makes this place different from other bars or cafes?
Studiooutte: The atmosphere is supposed to express the core of the “routine,” but with a logic that’s far from a commercial sales area, making it feel like a second home. All elements harmoniously fit together and create a calm background for the products.
What influences have accompanied you throughout the creation process?
We wanted to achieve a timeless feeling in art and architecture, like American and Italian minimalism. But don’t let the room take on the recurring “healthy bar” aesthetic.
The room is a great symbiosis between organic structures and obvious elements – what materials did you choose and why?
We believe in natural and raw materials, their patina and imperfections that increase with time and use. The use of lighting is very dim, the presence of curtains, tables with flower setting embraces the visitors in a quiet environment away from the noise of the city.
The chairs and stools you designed for the room are spacious and heavy, but still elegant. What’s behind the design?
Neoplasticism has had a profound effect on us, and furniture is an expression of our idea of space and form. They bundle graphical simplicity on a small scale. And the calm but strong elements are part of the whole as a whole. All pieces are numbered and belong to a limited edition that we have manufactured by selected manufacturers in Italy.
