In total, the state government is financing the projects with around 100 million euros in this year’s round of the Rural Areas Development Program (ELR). Able to apply are municipalities, associations, companies and private individuals. 91 projects in the Alb-Danube region are subsidized in excess of EUR 4.6 million. The ELR program helps strengthen structures in municipalities in rural areas. This will make it possible to keep cities and villages attractive and vibrant in future.

“4.6 million for very specific projects in our country – that’s a real word. We have an approval rate of 64 percent, which means we have passed almost two out of three applications in Stuttgart. We are at the forefront of this funding round, ”said Manuel Haagel, Member of State Parliament for Alb-Donu District, when he was informed in Stuttgart of specific commitments to fund for the Rural Areas 2121 Development Program.

The last few weeks have been characterized by intensive consultations with the specialist department to prepare them for projects in the ADK. It was nice to see that Hagal ended his efforts to pay the money.
