Sarah Kern had a mini stroke

Sarah Kern is in the intensive care unit, connected to multiple devices that are constantly beeping in the background. “I had a mini-stroke,” explains the entrepreneur. Meaning: A small stroke. She felt dizzy while at work, coworkers called the emergency doctor immediately, and she’s been in the hospital ever since. He is not allowed to get up.

How is this possible? “When you have a lot of stress, that coupled with congested nerves because of a herniated disc in my neck,” says Sarah, “one factor in many of the puzzles.”

But Sarah was lucky in misfortune: she was not paralyzed! But: “A second stroke would be fatal,” she reports.

Over the next few hours, the 54-year-old still has an MRI, ultrasound, and other tests ahead of her. “Now I’ll see that I’m fit and there’s nothing wrong with the exam,” said Gora. Tomorrow (Monday 4 July) a decision will be taken on when she can leave the hospital.

She seems calm, until she suddenly starts talking about her kids. Her voice trembles, tears well up in her eyes and slowly falls down. She cries out, “Of course my kids are worried and it’s scaring me!”

We keep crossing our fingers for Sarah that she gets well soon! (RSC)
