Coffee Stain Studios has announced the details and targeted release date of Update 7 for the building game Satisfying. However, the changes are much smaller than in the previous update.
The Assembly Line Needs New Updates: With Update 7 announced, satisfied fans can look forward to some changes to the build-up game. In theory, however, the innovations are somewhat smaller than the previous satisfactory Update 6, which has been run on Early Access servers for a few weeks. As announced by Coffee Stain Studios in the respective patch notes, Update 7 should land on experimental servers in November, while the Early Access version should be loaded with the new patch before the end of the year.
Satisfying Update 7: What’s New?
In addition to the usual bug fixes and performance improvements in Update 7, a more peaceful version of Satisfy is in the pipeline with a passive game mode, in which players are not attacked by creatures and can take care of their projects in peace. . Other game modes are also planned, as community manager Snut Trepto explains in a video overview on YouTube. These include a Creative or God mode – but these are to be expected with the release of a satisfactory version 1.0.
The generator’s overclocking also receives a slight adjustment in Satisfying Update 7, which, according to Treptow, was already planned for the previous patch and was eventually cancelled. With the linear scaling of energy, fuel and water, a more understandable overview of the effects of the chosen overclock should be made. In addition, water consumption for nuclear generators has been reduced from 300 to 240, so that a 250 percent overclock can result in a maximum of 600 water units.
The map in Satisfying also receives some more profound changes in Update 7. These range from detailed work on the presence of related biomes to “significant changes in the landscape”, which can also affect factories. In addition, the biome Paradise Island will be removed – a replacement for it is not planned, at least for the time being.
