The time has come, the 2021 Olympic Games are just around the corner! The opening ceremony in Tokyo is to take place on Friday, but the first Olympic competition will begin on Wednesday.

For some sports that have long tournament play as part of the Olympics, the schedule of the Games, which is scheduled to run from July 23 to August 8, 2021, is not enough. Therefore, these sports start their competitions a little earlier.

Olympia 2021 live on Wednesday: these games will be held today

Two sports will make the Olympic Games debut on Wednesday: softball and soccer.

The women’s national teams of Australia and Japan will play softball at 2 pm. This is followed by Italy against America and Mexico against Canada.

The first football match will start at 9.30 am. Here also women are on duty on Wednesday. The national teams of Great Britain and Chile will start, followed by five more games.
