What happened to Ed Sheeran’s Instagram account? All the posts have disappeared and their profile picture has also been replaced with a white background. The pop star revealed that it will remain so until 2023.

Ed Sheeran’s fans probably won’t see or hear anything from him right now. The British musician is retiring for the rest of the year and is “now signed on until 2023,” he writes in a new Instagram post.

He also shared a picture of himself looking out to the sea on a large boulder in the middle of the beach. “See you in the new year. Love, Ed,” he concluded. Sheeran has also removed all Instagram posts from his account and replaced his profile picture with a plain white background.

It is not known whether the singer used the time to possibly produce new music. One thing’s for sure: Sheeran was always busy at the end. The singles “Celestial” and “Call on Me” have recently been released, and their latest album “=” was released in October 2021.

Or is the gap related to Sheeran’s lawsuit? Just a few weeks earlier, the artist had to answer in front of a grand jury on allegations that he had used parts of his 2014 song “Thinking Out Loud” from the 1972 classic “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye (1939–1984). copied.

family time?

As Billboard reports, a federal judge has dismissed the singer-songwriter’s motion to dismiss the case, which has been pending since 2018. The parties that filed the “Thinking Out Loud” copyright lawsuit and own part of the gay song are now seeking $100 million in damages from the British musician.

Presumably, Sheeran would primarily like to spend time with her family. In May 2022, he finally became a father to a daughter for the second time. In August 2020, he and his wife Cheri Seaborn gave birth to their daughter Lyra Antarctica. Sheeran and Seaborn have been married since 2019.
