Mainz After nearly seven years, Christian Sievers is leaving the “Hate” show and will be succeeded by “Hate Journal” presenter Klaus Kleber. Seavers will move through the show starting January 2022. In his last broadcast, he thanked his audience.
At the end of the last broadcast, Seavers announced that viewers would soon be able to see her in “Haute” magazine. He also explicitly thanked his “great team behind the scenes”. It was always professional and serious, but internally it was always a lot of fun and good. He also spoke of “seven exciting, challenging and mostly difficult news years”. He thanked the people in front of the screen for their interest and trust. Finally he said: “Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your evening again and again”.
The 51-year-old has been the presenter of the show “Hute” at 7 p.m. since 2014 and has been working for “Hate Journal” for a few weeks each year. According to information from ZDF, Klaus Kleber will make his last appearance in the “Haute Journal” on December 30. The 66-year-old has been presenting the news magazine since 2003. Starting next year, Christian Sievers will take turns with Marietta Slomka, and Bettina Schusten will guide the audience through the news program a few weeks a year.
Sievers has worked for ZDF since 1998, among other things, as the presenter of “ZDF Morning Magazine”, as the presenter of projections and analysis on election programs, and as the head of the ZDF studio in Tel Aviv.
According to Mitri Sirin the information will follow Sievers with “Haute” and will present the ZDF’s main news program for the first time on 11 October. The 50-year-old has been working as a radio and TV presenter since 1997. In 2009 he switched from Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) to ZDF, where he has hosted “ZDF Morning magazine” since 2011.
“Haute Journal” has been on air since January 2, 1978. The magazine was expanded to half an hour on weekdays in the summer of 1991 and to Saturdays in early 1992. Since January 2000, the “Haute Journal” reports on Sunday evenings, 28 minutes in length from March 2019.
