Starting Shot for External Peace Initiative: Arc'teryx: Worldwide Promotion of External Projects

“We want to help realize that the way to be happy starts from the outside,” said George Weitman, vice president of brand and digital commerce for Archeotrix. “We believe that nature is for everyone. With our outdoor peace program, we will take initiatives that raise awareness and create opportunities to spend time in nature.”

Canadian outdoor specialist Archestex is launching its outdoor peace initiative this year with an investment of 1 million Canadian dollars (640,000 euros). It supports various partners around the world who work for nature conservation and proximity to nature.

Above all, socially disadvantaged people should be given the opportunity to find “outer peace”. In Germany, among other things, the Munich “Bellevue Running Club” is supported, which is a meeting place for refugees and Munich residents and promotes movement and activity at the same time.

“The challenges in 2020 made us realize how important physical and mental well-being is. For Outer Peace, we were inspired by the question, क्या What does the world need and what can we help? ‘”Said George Weightman, vice president of brand and digital commerce at Arc Vertics. “Nature calms us, connects us and heals us. It is the inspiration and drive for our passion for design and product development. Spending time in nature is at the core of who we are. We are here to inspire others to open their doors, go out and find outer peace – in nature – even in the most adverse weather conditions. ”
