Things are not going well at Tesla. Quality problems force the American carmaker to make over and over again. And they even took him to the district court in Munich!
What happened? When changing tires on the Model 3, cracks were found in the underbody, which, according to media reports, Tesla wanted to eliminate by repainting with no success.
The Tesla driver brought the matter to the Munich Regional Court, which appointed an expert to investigate it. His assessment: At the next general inspection, the Model 3 with this damage will no longer receive the badge!
After this another case was brought in this court. Another Tesla Model 3 driver found that his new vehicle had scratched, warped, and broken jacking points, as well as different paint shades. Tesla spoke of errors of a “cosmetic nature”. In this case, however, a specialist testified that the floor assembly was damaged. Here too, the allotment of a new TUV sticker would be questionable.
The regional court has not yet ruled in either case, and Tesla has yet to comment on it.
Should the court agree with the plaintiffs and possibly force Tesla to resell the vehicle, the carmaker could face a broad wave of lawsuits.
