Pokémon Go: Catching Event – Start Time and Bonuses

When does the event take place? The Art of Catch event in Pokémon Go begins and ends on Sunday, March 5, 2023. The first major event in March only lasts one day, which means you have more time than Community Day. It starts at 10:00 am German time and you will have until 8:00 pm to catch Pokémon and complete research tasks.

  • Start Fangkunst Event: March 5, 2023 at 10:00 am (local time)
  • End of the Fangkunst event: March 5, 2023 at 8:00 PM (local time)

What bonuses are there? The Art of Catching event in Pokémon Go focuses on fighting Pokémon and your own Poké Ball skills. For the three battle-type monsters, Kikli, Nokchan, and Capoeira, you have an increased chance of finding them as Shiny, which can benefit you from their increased occurrence. But you can especially benefit from the double XP if you catch Pokémon with curveballs or throws that go from good to great. So working a little on your throwing skills might be worth it.

Pokémon Go: Catch Art Event – Spawns and Field Research

These Pokémon roam in the wild: You can find some monsters in the wild in Pokémon Go, during the Art of Capture event. There are a few surprises here, but you can take advantage of the increased shinning opportunities: (*shining possible)

You get these Pokémon from 7 km eggs: If you hatch your 7km egg in an incubator during the 2023 Art of Catching event in Pokémon Go, you have a chance to get these Pokémon:

You can get this Pokémon in Field Research and Timed Research: Besides Kikli and Nokchan, another evolution of Rabauz is still missing from the selection. Of course, Capoeira shouldn’t be missing out on the Fangkunst event. You can get monsters in Pokemon Go from Field Research and Timed Research.

If you are specifically interested in Capoeira, you should mainly use limited research. With tasks you have the chance to encounter fighting Pokémon up to 40 times. If you don’t like battle Pokémon, you still have other events in March 2023 in Pokémon Go. We will provide you a complete overview in an additional article.
