Reusrath doesn’t care about the table yet
langenfeld After the first day of the match, SC Rusrath leads the National Football League. The upcoming rivalry from Unterrath on Sunday (3:30 p.m.) is the final.
When asked about the constellation in the regional leagues, where the table leaders are moving to the bottom of the table, Ralph Dietrich has a heartfelt laugh – after all, only one matchday has been played. And on top of that, their SC Reusrath beat SC Schwarz-Weiss 4–1, while SG Unterrath, the opponents from 3:30 pm on Sunday, lost in the City derby against MSV Düsseldorf 0–3. It had exactly the same effect on a still very fresh table.
Of course, you shouldn’t overdo it at the moment. “At first we are happy that we won the opening game with a compelling performance”, says Dietrich and of the next opponent: “I saw Unterth against MSV. They are uncomfortable opponents who are much more than that team. Changed what we knew from the District League. In Deniz Top, SGU has a new coach with a new philosophy. She was about to draw 1-1 against MSV, and then the game would definitely be different. “
The concern of personnel in SCR continues. Now the manual now is also out. “He is one of our key players who guide and guide the young players on the pitch,” describes Dietrich. He had to do without getting wet during this week of training because the 32-year-old was plagued by addiction problems, as was the preparation. “We don’t want it to be old and that’s why we let it out,” says the SCR coach.
Nils Kaufman, who initially met twice but has since changed his career, is also no more. “We can only replace him collectively”, insists Dietrich and proposes solutions as follows: “With Justin Neufeld and Pascal Heinrichs, who have knee problems, we have two outside players who have Nils. May not have the power, but has a lot of momentum.” Moritz Kaufmann at the center could benefit from this. “It’s been our life insurance policy for years, not only hitting the target, but hitting a lot,” Dietrich says.
Back from vacation, Jonas Herjesel is an experienced player who can “lead the boys too”, as his coach puts it. Still, it’s the same for them: “We have two top performers who are absent. Which is why we’d be overjoyed if we took a point at Unterrath with us. But playing for a draw always goes in the pants, and that’s not our philosophy either. We want to attack, not hide. We meet a highly motivated opponent, but we are also motivated,” says Dietrich.
He left Fabian Bunk during the week as upper division Sportfreunde Baumberg were looking for another goalkeeper. “We have a good relationship with Salah,” says Dietrich of SFB trainer Salah El Halimi. “Fabian was with us for a year and really wanted to go back to Canada to study. So we brought in a goalkeeper and an A- from the youth, and now we had four goalkeepers, because Fabian isn’t going back to Canada, He’s transferred. “We’re happy for Fabian, he’s developed really well in that one year with us,” Dietrich says.
