It’s been less than a month since fans of the Borderlands series got the chance to dive into Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The spin-off of the popular series combined the allure of a D&D adventure with the crazy fantasy of a 13-year-old, the most dangerous in the world. Although you don’t quite reach the main games in terms of scope, it doesn’t detract from the atmosphere. The main reason for this is the DLC plans from 2K and Gearbox Software. Because the first additional content starts today and the brand new trailer explains what awaits you in it:
Cold Captors begins in the Dreamwheel Overlook, where the enigmatic astrologer Vesper awaits adventurers. Ages ago, Twisted Ones held the biggest catch: an ancient deity. He was imprisoned within the sharp-toothed, leathery body of a mighty sea battle and deep within an icy mountain. Only the Exterminators can free the god from his fleshy prison – but they must battle the chilly wastelands, ancient ruins, and caves full of enemies.
Twisted Gel contains:
- The new owner “Chums”, the old god, has four powerful forms that he uncovers over time. Vesper’s stories are made to be replayed to test your skills even as the difficulty increases.
- New loot to collect including weapons, gear and cosmetic items. Each time they defeat an increasingly terrifying boss, players will earn Lost Souls that can be used to spin the Vespers Wheel of Fortune. By spinning this spooky contraption, players can earn rewards such as legendary weapons, gear, and other items.
- New Chaos Chamber Contents. Completing a content pack will also add its associated level and boss to the pool of possible options in Chamber of Chaos, the endlessly replayable endgame dungeon in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. In this way, the countless possible combinations for a randomly generated dungeon are expanded once again. It makes every run even more unpredictable.
Available separately or as part of the Chaotic Great Edition, the Season Pass includes four new post-launch content packs, complete with impressive bosses and unusual settings, Class VII to expand the multiclass system even further, and cosmetic items. Contains a series of Donkey Horse Pack.
