The temporary suspension of H-1B and other non-immigrant visas by President Donald Trump along with other restrictive procedures on immigration is detrimental to the United States and its economic climate, president of a top rated American business enterprise advocacy team has explained.
“It (the proclamation) is unlucky,” Nisha Desai Biswal, president of US India Business Council (USIBC) informed PTI in an job interview.
US President Trump experienced before this week issued a proclamation to suspend issuing of H-1B visas, popular among Indian IT pros, along with other foreign function visas for the relaxation of the year.
The US President argued that the move was important to enable millions of Us residents who have lost their work opportunities owing to the current financial disaster. On the other hand, the US Chambers of Commerce and USIBC do not concur.
