The German holiday airline is now flying with former Etihad jets. Condor is making mainly cosmetic changes to the cabins of four Airbus A330s.
Condor aboard flight DE1514 from Düsseldorf to Palma de Mallorca on Saturday (February 19) has something special waiting for passengers. You are not flying an Airbus A320, A321 or Boeing 757, which are otherwise used en route. instead they would Condor’s Airbus A330 . Be the first to board,
The long-haul aircraft has 262 seats, including 22 business class seats that convert to flat beds. The D-AIYC is the first of four aircraft of that type to be in service with the Condor by May. All had earlier flown for Etihad Airways.
New seat cover and headrest
Condor is only leasing four A330-200s for about two years, as the first new-generation A330-900s will arrive in the autumn. Therefore, the A330-200 does not have actual Condor livery, but wears white emblazoned with the airline’s logo and letters.
There are no major changes to the cabin compared to Etihad times, with the German holiday airline only setting its own visual accents. For instance, the seat covers have been refurbished and the headrests now get the Condor colors and logo as well. And of course the airline also equips the aircraft with its own emergency equipment.
Neo Brings Another Class
The new A330-900 will have premium economy class apart from economy and business. The airline is yet to reveal what the number and layout of the seats will look like. However, there are already some clues,
