Germany’s U20s finished third in the group stage after beating Sweden 4-2 and will now take on Finland in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Canada on Wednesday (live and free from 6pm on MagentaSport). “Our first goal was the quarter-finals. I think we want more,” says Alexander Blank, the most successful German shooter with 4 points, in an interview with MagentaSport. “Why not? Why can’t you knock out a good team in the quarter-finals and make it to the semi-finals?” MagentaSport streams the Knockout games completely live and free of charge.

The German selection ended the group stage after 2 wins (USA, Sweden) against Austria and Switzerland and 2 losses with 10:13 goals. Quarter-final rivals Finland (Wednesday, live from 6pm) have already scored 22 times and also scored 13 goals.
