Developers at Microsoft have rolled out a new update to their PowerToys tool collection. Version 0.51 comes with some new features and bug fixes. There are, among other things, improved language and color choices, as well as new mouse functions.
Microsoft recently updated its PowerToys Toolbox. It is a collection of various tools that users can use to customize certain aspects of the operating system to suit their needs. The archive was first published with Windows 95 and was updated for Windows XP as well. PowerToys made a comeback only in 2019 Windows 10 Return. Microsoft recently updated PowerToys to version number 0.51. The update brings new functions and also fixes some bugs. The PowerToys Awake Tool now uses the same language in the notification area and settings. There are also new formats for the color picker to choose from.
New functions have also been given to the FancyZones window manager. Users can assign multiple windows to a zone and switch between windows with shortcuts. We’ve also added the ability to allow zones to take on system accent colors and themes. Additionally, a bug has been fixed that could have caused FancyZones to crash on startup.
There are also some new functions for the “Find My Mouse” tool. If the double click duration configuration is set to more than 100 milliseconds, activation is improved. In addition, the display is said to have been fixed on all virtual desktops. Lastly, there are minor UI customizations for intuitive symbols, appearance and description of functions, along with new setting options.
