Between trainers visiting Sefton Park in person and those enjoying the event from afar, participants walked 372,000 km to catch 5.93 million Pokémon.

At Sefton Park, instructors were able to enjoy Liverpool’s beautiful landscape and breathtaking waters – the perfect backdrop for the Safari Zone event with marine and water-related themes – and catch Pokémon such as Lampy, Relicanth and Icognito E, I, L, O , P, R and V that may be encountered.

For the first time in a Safari Zone event, a giant inflatable relaxo added to the celebrations and gave the attendees a fun opportunity to remember the event. Pikachu and Eevee also returned to meet and greet their friends and fans! Participants were also able to purchase a special Safari Zone T-shirt that came with matching in-game avatar items. Also, some lucky trainers were able to do Professor Willow Trading Card Put your hand on it!
