Trouble for Saxon Couple in Penny Parking: “I Laughed Inside!”

Freiburg/Ruhla – Egbert Vinzenz Schwarz (62) parked his car in a Freiburg penny car park for ten minutes twice a day. For this they will have to pay 30 euros. Due to an error in the parking lot monitoring system, which has happened many times in the past.
62-year-old drives to the parking lot of the Penny supermarket on March 1, 2022 at 9:01 am on Bundesstrae 101 / Olbernhauer Strae, as it currently is “Voss and Team” episode (MDR) emerges. After ten minutes he leaves the premises and goes to work.
At around 3:50 pm when he finishes work, he stops in the parking lot again to get his wife’s cake. At 4 p.m. Schwarz leaves again.

If a car exceeds the maximum period of 90 minutes, a contractual fine of at least 30 euros may be imposed.
“I knew immediately what was in it before I opened the letter, and I almost laughed inside,” says Ute Schwarz. “The response was: ‘You can’t do that, no!'”
The Schwarz family is accused of constantly parking there from 9:01 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pair also addressed the PAC error, referring to a previous Voss & Team post, prompting the company to waive the €30 fine.
Other MDR viewers have also reported similar instances of false accusations of standing for too long in a PAC-monitored parking lot. Obviously, the system is not technically correct.
In mid-November 2021 it was Heike and Günter Langgut from Thuringia. From Ruhla he went to Bremen in a hired van to help his son move on.
They are said to have parked in a parking lot there from 8:12 pm to 8:30 am the next day.
Heike Langgut, who references the receipts and a Google Maps history, says, “When we wrote it was clear to me that they would see it was just a misunderstanding. We were not aware of any guilt and were able to prove it.” ” ,
At the time, the PAC cited two photographs of the entry and exit and initially insisted on paying a 30-euro fine, but later dropped its claims.
