Whatsapp: new functions in November 2021 – stickers and image editing for the web
WhatsApp has quietly rolled out the latest version of the app over the past few weeks with three new functions. Many attentive users will have already noticed them. For those of you who haven’t noticed yet, the company has now announced major format changes on Twitter.
The biggest change is probably the so-called “web media editor”, which allows users to crop and rotate images and add colored text or stickers via WhatsApp Web. This function was previously blocked from the mobile phone app.

Another change pertains to link previews in the chat window: Links shared with friends or work colleagues are now displayed differently. The preview images for the website are much larger than before. This has the advantage that you can better see in advance what you are clicking on and what is expected in terms of content. As a third and final change, WhatsApp is now offering sticker suggestions: based on the message you enter in the text field below, Messenger automatically selects the appropriate stickers, requiring you to select them separately. is not needed. “It’s like emoji suggestions, only better,” WhatsApp writes on Twitter.

WhatsApp: Messenger app keeps introducing new features
