SV Werder Bremen are apparently getting ready for the future again in the winter. according to data from transfermarkt.de Ronan Kraut, 19, will move to Weser in January, where he will initially get match practice with the second team.
Kraut, who holds dual US and Canadian citizenship, has made 14 appearances for Canada’s top-flight club York United this season, scoring three goals, and made two appearances for Canada’s U20 team. Last season, he gained experience in German football with the U19 selection of SSV Ulm in the A-Junior Bundesliga South/Southwest.
Because of his current contract in Canada, Werder would have to pay a fee for the winger. According to the report, Kraut was able to convince those responsible after the trial session.
