An Internet meme becomes reality: Microsoft will also introduce an Xbox Series X mini fridge in Germany.
Microsoft has already implemented an Xbox Series X mini fridge at the Xbox Showcase at E3 2021 in June announced – Just in time for this year’s Christmas business.
Now the promise has been fulfilled: The mini fridge is created in collaboration with merchandise specialist Uconic and the two-door compartments can hold up to twelve beverage cans – plus snacks. There’s also a USB interface on the front for charging smartphones, controllers, and other electronic devices.
The Xbox Mini Fridge goes on sale on October 19th and will be shipped to retailers in December 2021. It starts with US retailer Target, where the model is available for $99. The refrigerator can also be ordered in selected European countries, including Germany: Gamestop will be offering the Xbox Series X fridge for 99 euros.
More batches have been announced for 2022.
